The Smiths Tribute NYC

After two years of COVID disruptions to their schedule and long-running lineup, members of The Sons & Heirs have regrouped as The Smiths Tribute NYC. For nearly 14 years, The Sons & Heirs built its following through sold-out shows from Tel Aviv to Los Angeles, with press acclaim from the New York Post, New Yorker magazine, and Rolling Stone’s Rob Sheffield.

The band was also known for sharing the stage with special guests including Morrissey’s long-time drummer Spencer Cobrin, Doug Gillard (Guided By Voices), Dennis Cronin (Lambchop), and even The Smiths’ bassist Andy Rourke, who later told a reporter “these guys love the band, and they’re really passionate about it.”
